Meghan QuinnEvent Manager, Maine Farmland Trust
Meg started at MFT’s Portland office in 2016. After moving to Maine from Massachusetts in 2010, she was immediately impressed by the level of attention paid to local business and food sourcing in the state and spent many years working in hospitality, non-profit outreach, and community event organizing. In 2016 she completed a Masters in Science in Sustainable Food Systems from Green Mountain College. Her career has taken many paths but has always involved her love for bringing people together for a cause over a shared experience and, of course, food. Meg’s position as Event Manager at MFT has been a great opportunity to combine her experience, education, and passion for Maine’s vibrant food economy by creating events with farms and food & beverage producers around the state to help guests see their own connection to our food system. When she’s not working, she loves to spend time enjoying Portland’s food and arts scene as well as getting out of town to explore Maine’s best diners, hidden swimming holes, and mountain peaks with her beagle mix, Rockwell.
