Land Access Curriculum for Agricultural Service Providers

The “Farmland for the Next Generation” curriculum was developed to help beginning farmers and ranchers make good land access decisions by gaining core skills and competencies needed to find and secure land. It is structured around a series of eight Learning Plans: Introduction to Land Tenure, Financial Assessment, Land Access Options, Finding Land, Land Assessment, Leasing Land, Purchasing Land, and Succession Planning. Teaching materials from each Learning Plan can be found in our Resources for Land Seekers page.
We host our entire curriculum in an online collaboration platform called Podio, where we can organize new materials and create opportunities for networking. If you would like access to additional free resources and to connect with the national network of service providers, please fill in this short survey and someone from our team will be in touch.
