Greg PlotkinDigital Communications Manager
Greg Plotkin first joined American Farmland Trust in 2007 and, over the years, has held various positions in the Development and Communications departments. As the Manager of Institutional Giving at AFT, Greg helped develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy for foundation, corporate and government partners that secured more than $20 million for AFT’s work between 2007 and 2012.
In his current role as Digital Communications Manager, Greg develops and implements AFT’s online communications strategy, which encompasses overseeing multiple websites, email communications, social media, video, and other digital content.
In addition to his work with American Farmland Trust, Greg has also served as a fundraising and communications consultant to several leading nonprofit organizations, including The Edible Schoolyard Project, Trees for the Future, and Rainforest Action Network.
Greg currently sits on the board of Tahoe Food Hub and serves as a volunteer advisor for the Desert Farming Initiative at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Greg holds a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He resides in Sparks, NV.
