Ivy has a background in natural resource ecology and a demonstrated commitment to fostering sustainable landscapes. Her extensive experience working and interacting with local agricultural producers at the Moscow Farmers Market has deepened her understanding of urban farming challenges and opportunities. Prior to joining American Farmland Trust, Ivy served as the Executive Director of Idaho Firewise, where she collaborated with communities to identify wildfire risks and implement community-driven mitigation solutions. Passionate about the intersection of conservation and community, Ivy is dedicated to enhancing urban agricultural resilience, promoting environmentally sound farming practices, and fostering land stewardship across Idaho. In her free time, you can find Ivy hiking with her dogs, tinkering in her garden, or unwinding with a good book or knitting project.
