Maddy is a Master of Arts candidate in the Climate and Society Program at the Columbia Climate School. Her studies are focused on regenerative agriculture, climate communications, and climate adaptation. Maddy has worked on both rural and urban farms from Patagonia to the San Francisco Bay Area. Most recently she has worked in communications and design at a small environmental nonprofit. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Geography as well as a Certificate in Sustainable Farming from the University of Vermont.
