America has been losing more than an acre of farm and ranch land every minute to development.
We're working with communities, states and at the federal level to protect our nation's farm and ranch land.
Keeping Farmers on the Land
It’s not farmland without farmers. To save farmland, we must ensure that all farmers can make a
living—as well as a life—on the land. We’re working to save family farms by building community support
for agriculture, improving market opportunities and ensuring access to land for the next generation.
Promoting Sound Farming Practices
As the single largest users of land and water resources in America, farmers and ranchers can make a
major contribution to protecting the environment and improving water quality by adopting conservation practices.
