Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association

Great Lakes Farm Navigator
Biography

Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) cultivates a future in which sustainable and organic farmers thrive, local food nourishes our communities, and agricultural practices protect and enhance our environment. OEFFA hosts and annual sustainable agriculture conference, farm tours, workshops, and webinars. They also support farmers transition to organic certification and manage the Begin Farming program to support early career farmers. Finally, they advocate for state and federal policies that benefit sustainable agriculture.

Jerah Pettibone

OEFFA is represented by Jerah Pettibone (she/her).

Jerah is a teacher, and raises heritage breed gamebirds and rabbits on her urban farm in Ohio. She recently began working specifically in new farmer education and land access.
