Wyatt Frass is Assistant Director of the Farm and Community Program for the Center for Rural Affairs (CFRA). He has 20 years’ experience leading CFRA projects on beginning farmers, sustainable agriculture practices, alternative markets and community-based economic development. Previous work includes 15 years in natural resource conservation with federal, state and local agencies in several states. He has degrees in Wildlife Conservation and Range Management from the University of Wyoming and Montana State University. He lives in northeast Nebraska with his wife’s small flock of sheep, a passel of laying hens and a large garden.
