Sid Dasgupta is an agricultural economist, agribusiness and agricultural marketing specialist. He has over two decades of experience in helping small-scale farms in the United States. He has worked in Texas, Idaho, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Ohio. His work at Kentucky State University involves research and extension, which he uses to advise farmers and help them to make more informed farm-management decisions. Currently, he is the Associate Director of Extension at Central State University in Ohio. One of his interests and hobbies is to investigate the profitable adoption of low-investment and low-risk systems on small, limited-resource and beginning farms.
