Biography

Golden Sands Resource Conservation and Development Council Inc. acts as a community resource that can work across county lines to address large-scale environmental issues in a manner that protects both the environment and economies of a 13-county service arose. Their community serving programs focus on sustainable agriculture, clean water, healthy forests, and abundant wildlife. They provide support through comprehensive surveys and mapping, invasive species removal, technical assistance, grant writing, and planning to name a few.

Golden Sands Resource Conservation and Development Council is represented by Brooke Patrick.

Brooke Patrick is a Grazing Specialist. She grew up on a dairy farm in Shawano, WI, and graduated from UW-River Falls with a degree in Animal Science with a meat animal emphasis. For five years Brooke worked as a program technician for the Farm Service Agency in Waupaca County. In her free time, Brooke enjoys camping, sewing, and spending time outside. She hopes to make a difference in the farming community by helping promote sustainable agriculture and conserving our natural resources.
