Lytanya Brown

Biography

LyTanya Brown received her B.S. degree in Behavioral Science from University of Maryland University College. She received her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, where she and eight other students co-founded Southern University Law Center’s Journal of Race, Gender, and Poverty, which became Southern University Law Center’s second Law Journal.

LyTanya is currently the Director of the Mississippi Agricultural Mediation Program and Land Retention Specialist with the Federation of Southern Cooperatives. LyTanya helps assist farmers, ranchers and landowners resolve agriculture issues as well as heir’s property issues through mediation. She is also a Certified Land Access Trainer, Certified Mediation Trainer, and a Certified Credit Counselor.
