Nicolette “Missy” Gordon (she/her) is the Electronic Content Development & Communications Specialist with the Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center. In her position, she oversees daily onsite technical support, design & maintenance, and serve as the on-site editor of all electronic digital content.

Previously, she developed youth programs and community development strategies in rural areas throughout Southeast Louisiana. Before coming to the SU Ag Center, the Baton Rouge native was the Public Service Director and Radio Personality at Citadel Broadcasting. She also served as Station Manager for two community radio station in the greater Baton Rouge area. Gordon holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Southern University and A&M College. She is passionate about changing our local communities through strategic communication and service.
