The Educational Team on this page are partners in AFT’s 2020 Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program grant (award #2020-49400-33257) from the United States Department of Agriculture/National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA NIFA). Our 3-year project proposal, Transitioning Land to a New Generation: Preparing Trainers to Help Facilitate Transfer will foster positive communication skills between landowners and land seekers and continue building a support network among farm and ranch service providers.

Meet our Project Partners
The Educational Team is supported by the Educational Team Advisory Committee. All together comprised of 19 partner farmers and national farm transfer experts who have wide-ranging experiences. Members will advise on the development of core competencies and learning objectives, provide input on curriculum development, identify and review training curricula and resources, suggest ways to fill gaps, and inform the delivery of trainings and dissemination of materials.
