Ben joined American Farmland Trust in September of 2023. His primary responsibilities include implementing farmer-focused education, outreach, and research collaborations across the Midwest region. Ben is born and raised in Illinois where he received his Bachelor’s degree at Southern Illinois University. Prior to joining the AFT team, Ben worked in agriculture research at the University of Illinois.
