Teresa manages the communication and outreach for AFT’s California office. Before joining AFT, she worked as assistant editor for UCFoodObserver.com, which reported on agriculture and the food system for the University of California’s Office of the President. As a reporter, her bylined articles have been published in media including Food Tank, Civil Eats, Horticulture, and KCET-TV. Teresa has written for both the California and Idaho Cooperative Extension Services, and she conducted public relations for agricultural cooperatives such as Ocean Spray Cranberries. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Florida, and attended communication classes at Harvard Extension School.
