AFT Applauds Election of Rep. Craig as House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member

American Farmland Trust congratulates Rep. Angie Craig on her recent election as Ranking Member of the House Agriculture Committee. Since joining Congress, she has been a fierce and bipartisan advocate for farmers, ranchers, and rural communities and for common-sense reforms. She has already established herself as a leader on many pressing issues, including improving land and credit access for new and beginning farmers and conservation programs. She will provide new leadership and insights at a critical time for agriculture. We look forward to working closely with her to advance a new Farm Bill in the next Congress.
