#AllForFarmers – AFT and Tillamook Partner for Farmers
Partnerships drive change. At American Farmland Trust, we know this well. Our success over our 40-year history is built on strong partnerships. Partnering with farmers, landowners, nonprofits, and government entities have been drivers of AFT’s impact. As an organization, we love partnerships. The power of like–minded organizations and individuals coming together with a common purpose allows for on outsized impact. Today, we’re elated to announce our latest partnership with Tillamook County Creamery Association.
In Tillamook, we’ve found a partner that shares our values for respecting the hard work of farming, investing in the future of farmers, and the protecting irreplaceable farmland. During the month of September, Tillamook is donating 10% of all Tillamook product sales (up to $1.6 million dollars). to AFT. Their support of AFT is two pronged: protecting farmland and grants that will provide financial relief directly to farmers while supporting sound farming practices.
For 40 years, AFT has worked to advance farmland protection and support our nation’s farmers – two core pillars of our Farming is Our Future initiative. We’ve made big strides in protecting farms and supporting farmers but in order to keep moving our mission forward, we need strong partners. That’s why we are incredibly grateful that Tillamook is stepping up to address these issues alongside AFT.
Committed partners like Tillamook are invaluable – they push us towards a better future for farming and fuel our ability to impact farmers and ranchers across the country. From all of us at AFT, thank you Tillamook.
Throughout the month of September join AFT and Tillamook in thanking farmers nationwide by using #AllForFarmers. Tillamook will announce its total donation to AFT on October 12, National Farmers’ Day. With the proceeds, AFT will open the grant application to farmer applicants. More details and stories from farmers about the initiative can be found at AllForFarmers.com and farmland.org/Tillamook.
