AFT Statement on House Farm Bill Passage  

“We congratulate Chairman Thompson on the passage of a Farm Bill in the House of Representatives and offer our thanks and deep appreciation to all of the Members and staff on both sides of the aisle for their work on the bill. We now look forward to the continuation of this process in the Senate in hopes that Congress will this year pass a Farm Bill with broad partisan support that meets the urgent and mounting needs of our nation’s farmers, farms, and rural communities.”
