American Farmland Trust is building momentum in the movement to save the land that sustains us.

One way that we build our support and capability to work effectively is through our Perennial Partner program. Some of these committed supporters are asked to join this program as monthly donors from our team of canvassers.

You may have noticed AFT representatives on the street, at a local farmers market, or at your door asking folks to become monthly supporters.

American Farmland Trust works with GiveBridge, our face-to-face fundraising partner, in Orlando, Florida, to build grassroots support for our mission to save the land that sustains us.

These committed and passionate AFT representatives work on the street and door-to-door to grow our Perennial Partner program of sustaining donors. If you see our fundraisers on the street, stop and talk to them about American Farmland Trust’s work!

Is it safe and secure to give to AFT on the street or at my door?

Giving to American Farmland Trust on the street and at your door is a convenient and secure way to support. Our representatives use tablets with encrypted software to collect payment securely and transfer confidentially, so the only person who ever sees your credit card information is you!

This convenient and secure mobile giving method helps us receive your generous contribution as soon as possible. They can accept voided checks for Electronic Funds Transfer, EFT, or credit card payments.

How do I know if a fundraiser is from American Farmland Trust?

Each GiveBridge fundraiser will have an identification badge that lets you know their name and that they are representing AFT as a fundraiser.

I have signed up, but how do I know if I am a monthly donor?

Once you’ve completed your monthly gift set up, you should receive a notification email on the spot. If you do not get this confirmation message, please reach out to [email protected] or call (202) 331-7300 to confirm you have made the intended gift.
