Learning Circle: Pricing Guide and Funding Opportunities for Flower Farms (Lockport, NY)
July 22, 2026
AFT's Women for the Land Program is hosting a hands-on workshop for pricing structures and funding opportunities for flower farms. Any small-scale farm with value-added production goals would benefit from participation. Our event is hosted by Goody Girl Flowers, a highly successful, established flower farm in western New York. Partners leading the discussion are Heather Nedroscik, Beginning Farmer Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Niagara County, Bree Bacon, Small Business Development Corporation, and Carol Loopstra, Soil Conservationist from USDA-NRCS. Participants will explore how to price their value-added farm products to strengthen financial sustainability, hear about funding and cost-share opportunities for small farms, share ideas with peers, and learn directly from farmer-leaders who have paved the way to success. This in‑person gathering will take place Wednesday, July 22nd, 9:00 am–1:00 pm EST at Goody Girl Flowers (6110 Robinson Road, Lockport, NY), and will include facilitated discussion, a farm tour, and refreshments.
