The Legacy Circle
The Legacy Circle honors individuals who choose to make American Farmland Trust part of their lasting legacy. Through planned gifts, Legacy Circle members help ensure that America’s farms, ranches, and the communities they nourish will thrive for generations to come.
Members of The Legacy Circle at AFT share our founder Peggy Rockefeller’s bold vision for safeguarding America’s farms and ranches and the inseparable connection between agriculture and the environment. Guided by this belief, she assembled a small team of skilled and visionary leaders who rejected the idea that farmers and environmentalists stood on opposite sides. The result was the founding of American Farmland Trust in 1980.
Today, members of The Legacy Circle stand with our founder and the early visionaries who sparked a nationwide movement to protect America’s farmland forever.
