Addie CandibPacific Northwest Regional Director
Addie is newly hired to lead AFT’s programs in the Pacific Northwest region. She previously served on AFT’s Pacific Northwest advisory council. Before joining AFT, Addie was the community engagement manager at Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center. Prior to that she provided support for the USDA Farmer’s Market Promotion Program as a consultant with the AMS Technical Assistance Project and was the development director at Cloud Mountain Farm Center where she built the department from the ground up, brought in grants, increased individual giving, and guided long-range program planning. Engaged in local food and farming systems since 2008, Addie started her career in farmland protection at Community Farmland Trust. Addie earned a Master of Public Administration from The Evergreen State College and a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College.
