Alina supports the operations of AFT’s agricultural conservation easements, including the Buy, Protect, Sell Plus program. She works closely with the stewardship and acquisition of new easements and fee lands. Prior to joining AFT, Alina worked on a small-scale dairy farm in Putney, Vermont and taught outdoor environmental education at public and private institutions. Her passion for sustainable agriculture emerged during her time working at a local farm in Eugene, Oregon. Since then, she worked with a multitude of food security programs, food banks, SNAP eligibility assistance to support underrecognized communities. Alina completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Oregon with a focus on the intersection of sustainable business and food systems.
