Biography
Amanda is the Mid-Atlantic Program Manager, focusing on promoting regenerative agriculture, equitable land access and transfer, and farm viability, profitability, and resilience across the region. She lives and farms in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve in Maryland, where she and her husband raise pastured lamb and poultry at Plow and Stars Farm.
Prior to joining AFT, Amanda worked as the project director for the Million Acre Challenge, a collaborative effort to advance healthy soils and regenerative agriculture across the state of Maryland, and managed small-scale sustainable vegetable farms in the Boston area with a focus on food access and public education. She loves to spend time with her family, her sheep, and her working dogs.
