Annalise Sampson

Georgia Farmland Protection Associate

Annalise works closely with Georgia NRCS to permanently protect farmland through ACEP - ALE and RCPP easement programs. Originally from Southeast Florida, Annalise earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Florida Atlantic University and her Master of Science from the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. Annalise’s research focused on barriers to outdoor recreation and environmental education for historically underserved youth. Before joining AFT, she worked with NRCS as a Soil Conservation Technician, implementing conservation planning, administering federal cost-share programs, and educating farmers and landowners on sustainable agriculture practices. Annalise calls Lavonia, Georgia, home, where she lives with her husband, their two dogs, one cat, and a snake.
