Brandi McCoy

Kansas Grazing Specialist

Brandi McCoy is a grazing specialist dedicated to advancing regenerative grazing management across Kansas. She joined AFT in March 2026, where she works directly with farmers and ranchers to provide technical assistance and support the adoption of adaptive grazing practices.

She brings a strong background in both conservation and ranching. She began her career as a biologist with Pheasants Forever, where she assisted landowners in improving pollinator and upland bird habitat. She later transitioned into private consulting and coaching, supporting farmers and ranchers in implementing regenerative land management practices.

Brandi graduated from Kansas State University with Bachelor’s degrees in Animal Science and Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. She has continued her education in soil health and agroecology through Dr. Elaine’s Soil Food Web School and Integrity Soils’ CREATE program.

She lives on a ranch near Beaumont, Kansas, in the southern Flint Hills, where she and her husband own and operate 4L Grazing LLC, a livestock company managing stocker cattle and a winter backgrounding enterprise.
