Biography

Carly Boyer (they/she) is the Training and Education Manager for the Pacific Northwest region. Carly has stewarded her family’s Century Farm in Oregon’s Willamette Valley as a non-operating landowner since 2002 and has had two NRCS EQIP restoration contracts since 2010. Some highlights from Carly’s career include creating a climate resilience webinar series for technical assistance providers, co-leading the development of OrCAN’s statewide soil health network, and serving on the Oregon Community Food System Network’s Disaster Resilience grant review committee. Carly was a Land Fellow with the National Young Farmers Coalition, where she advocated for land access in the Farm Bill. She also served as a Resource Assistance for Rural Environments (RARE) AmeriCorps member, supporting rural food systems and economic development in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Carly holds a Bachelor of Science in Planning, Public Policy, and Management from the University of Oregon. She currently serves on the board of directors for Rogue Farm Corps and the Transitioning Oregon Farmland advisory committee. She lives in Eugene, Oregon.
