Catie Field

Catie Field serves as American Farm Land Trust's Smart Solar Program Coordinator supporting the growth and advancement of Smart Solar principals and program strategies. Her role requires her to work across the National and Regional Smart Solar Programs teams, as well as with external partners including grant-funded farmers, landowners, service providers and professionals in the solar, agricultural, and farmland protection sectors.

Prior to this position, she had worked within the non-profit sector in local farm policy advocacy and advancement and previously provided farmer technical assistance in the NRCS. She got her B.S. in Animal Science and M.S. in Agriculture with a project focused on beef cattle grazing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She stayed in the area post-graduation and continues to reside in San Luis Obispo County where she spends her free time raising chickens, gardening, roller skating, and camping.
