Clarissa joined American Farmland Trust in August of 2026. Her primary responsibilities include developing compliance systems and ensuring adherence to grant regulations. Clarissa grew up in Chicago, IL, and then made the move to Philadelphia, PA to earn her Bachelor’s degree at Temple University. She then crossed the country to earn her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Washington. Clarissa brings over a decade of experience in the public and nonprofit sector specializing in compliance, finance, and process improvement.
