
Eliza Paterson
Sr. New England Policy Associate
Eliza assists in research, stakeholder engagement and outreach, and regional policy development. Eliza was born and raised in Connecticut and is passionate about the environment, agriculture, and the land that sustains us. She has been involved with agriculture for close to a decade and has farmed in New England, Colorado, New York, and Brazil. Alongside her farming career, Eliza assisted in advancing policy and research initiatives for regenerative agriculture and water use efficiencies in Jordan and served as Assistant Research Manager on an agrivoltaic farm in Colorado. She holds an MS in Environment, Politics, and Development from SOAS University of London with an emphasis on natural resource governance and political ecology and a BA in Environmental Studies and Geography from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In her free time, Eliza enjoys various outdoor activities, travel, playing music, attending concerts, and watching movies and shows.
