Marketing and Social Media Manager
Liz assists with social media and marketing efforts at AFT. Before joining AFT, Liz spent seven years at a public relations agency leading various social media, website, and corporate communications projects for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. She also held a communications role at a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing a historic downtown district in New Jersey, including supporting their Farmers Market. Liz studied psychology, communications, and sociology at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Liz enjoys gardening and nursing plants from seed to harvest (including the Jersey tomato), hiking, and photographing her three rescue cats in her spare time. She is passionate about land and natural resource conservation as well as native plants and invasive species removal and education. Liz is working toward a Rutgers Environmental Stewards certification and is training to be a volunteer Invasive Species Strike Force Surveyor with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference.
