Elizabeth AmodeoMarketing and Social Media Associate
Liz assists with social media and marketing efforts at AFT. Prior to joining AFT, Liz spent seven years at a public relations agency leading a variety of social media, website, and corporate communications projects for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. She also held a communications role at a nonprofit dedicated to the revitalization of a historic downtown district in New Jersey, including supporting their Farmers Market. Liz studied psychology, communications, and sociology at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
In her spare time, Liz enjoys gardening and nursing plants from seed to harvest (including the Jersey tomato), hiking, and photographing her three rescue cats. She is passionate about land and natural resource conservation as well as native plants and invasive species removal and education. Liz is working toward a Rutgers Environmental Stewards certification and is training to be a volunteer Invasive Species Strike Force Surveyor with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference.
