Jennie joined the American Farmland Trust New England team in December of 2022. She supports producers in Connecticut with conservation planning while working collaboratively with NRCS. Jennie is deeply rooted within her local agricultural community where she has chaired her town’s Agriculture Commission since 2015, is a board member of the Windham County Agricultural Society, and serves as board President of The Livestock Institute of Southern New England. She also manages her own pasture-raised, grass-fed operation of beef and pork in Northeast Connecticut utilizing intensive pasture management and regenerative practices. Before joining the AFT family, she was a special education teacher and later, a disabilities administrator in Connecticut public education.
