Biography

Jen is the mid-Atlantic Farmland Programs manager, focusing on farmland preservation and land access. Before joining AFT, Jen managed the Offices of Farmland Preservation and Agriculture and Forestry Development at the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, where she was responsible for promoting farmland preservation, overseeing the Virginia Farm Link program, and managing several grant programs focused on agriculture and forestry economic development. Prior to that, as the director of development at the James River Association, she oversaw fundraising efforts to protect the James River. She also spent several years doing easement acquisition for the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, the largest easement-holding entity in Virginia. Jen holds a Masters of Public Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts from Sweet Briar College.
