
Karisa Centanni

Karisa Centanni is a passionate advocate for farmers, farmland protection, and rural communities. She brings nearly 10 years of frontline fundraising experience to her role connecting donors to diverse funding opportunities that support AFT’s essential mission: to save the land that sustains us.
Karisa is a trained biodynamic farmer, orchardist, and horticulturist, and she grows a large garden, builds biodynamic compost, stewards a small orchard, and cares for livestock with her family on their homestead in Upstate New York.
Karisa graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a B.A. in English, a B.F.A. in Photography, and a Minor in Russian. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is actively pursuing her CFRE credential.
