Kristen Berger

Kristen joined American Farmland Trust in June of 2026. She leads her region's communications and outreach activities, tracks state policy, and manages the Texas farm viability program portfolio. Kristen was born in Illinois and grew up in Texas. Kristen earned her B.S. Animal Science and M.Ed. Agricultural Leadership, Education, & Communications degrees at Texas A&M University. Kristen previously worked in livestock show management and international agricultural development.
