Lauren Murray

Lauren joined American Farmland Trust (AFT) in September of 2025. Her primary responsibility is to facilitate smooth and timely operations for AFT’s membership program. To produce a seamless membership program process, Lauren collaborates with AFT’s fundraising consultants and team to ensure growth and mindful communications, manages membership operations, coordinates all facets of direct mail production and digital fundraising, and is the relationship manager for all affiliated vendors.

With over 14 years of experience in public-facing roles across government and nonprofit sectors, Lauren has remained committed to supporting customers, donors, underserved youth, animals in need of homes, or farmers and ranchers. Her passion for making a positive impact has been the driving force behind every role she’s held. Lauren brings a strong foundation in database and project management, development operations, donor relations, and more. Her diverse experience reflects a lifelong dedication to helping others and delivering meaningful results in support-focused environments. Lauren resides in the Greater Austin Metro Area with her husband, Josh, and their two boys. Their favorite family adventures include nature walks, finding new coffee shops, and whipping something up in the kitchen.
