Max De Faria
New England Policy Manager
Max joined American Farmland Trust in July of 2026. Their policy work covers all six New England states, promoting AFT's mission in state policy. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Max earned their Bachelor's degree from Clark University (MA) and their Master's degree from Vermont Law and Graduate School. Prior to joining AFT, Max worked in food systems policy at the local, state, and national levels.
