Biography
Max works on stewardship of AFT’s easements and AFT’s remote site assessment pilot project. Before joining AFT, he worked with the Upper Valley Land Trust in Hanover, New Hampshire, on a variety of projects including the creation of land management plans, annual monitoring and landowner visits and other stewardship functions. He also spent several years overseas working with non-governmental organizations focusing on sustainable development and global health projects. Max completed a dual-degree program with Vermont Law School and the University of Vermont where he earned his master’s degrees in environmental law and policy and natural resources.
