Biography

Megan leads AFT’s Project Management Team (PMT) by overseeing day-to-day activities, operational enhancements, and information systems to effectively advise leadership on division portfolio strategies. In collaboration with the PMT, she is also responsible for establishing, governing, and continuously improving project management methodologies across the organization.

Before joining AFT, she served in the United States Marine Corps where she found a passion for charismatic leadership and tactical decision making. During that time, she was accountable for 245 Marines, 327 individual programs, and $24.3 million in supporting DoD assets. More recently, Megan served as the Regional Project Manager, working alongside the Vice President of Programs to support AFT’s Regional Programs.

Megan is a first-generation farmer and owner of Side Step Farms. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology Project Management / Information Security with Highest Honors from Davenport University and four Lean Six Sigma certifications. She is currently enrolled in a Master of Professional Studies in Project Management with a Graduate Certificate in Lean and Agile Practices from Georgetown University.
