Michelle is responsible for building and maintaining AFT’s websites, email calendar, designing and sending email marketing campaigns, search engine optimization, to producing graphics and video. She helps raise the profile of AFT through projects like America’s Farmers Market Celebration, to secure and steward digital supporters, and to maintain clear and consistent brand messages, visuals, and more across multiple digital channels. Michelle has a diverse background in digital marketing + communications working in publishing, event planning, and non-profit organizations. She has a degree in Meeting & Event Management from Madison College and continues her education in SEO and an array of Google Skillshop and HubSpot certifications. Stemming from a fifth-generation family dairy farm in rural Wisconsin, it was only natural for Michelle to develop a passion for food, making wine, and planting an ever-growing vineyard with French-American cold-climate grape varietals. She loves exploring globally, from quaint towns to rolling hills in wine country learning about the local culture, farmers markets, viticulture, and cuisine.
