Regional Farmland for a New Generation ManagerBiography
Molly works across New York and New Jersey to help lead AFT’s efforts to support farmers in search of land while aiding retiring farmers and other farmland owners in successfully transferring farmland. Before joining AFT, Molly served as the executive director of the Maternity and Early Childhood Foundation. Prior to that she helped cultivate the Good Food Farmers Network in New York’s Hudson Valley, a collaboration of farmers and other agricultural professionals seeking to create a direct-to-consumer distribution network. She also coordinated purchasing and logistics with a diverse group of farmers in a multi-state region as the local food operations manager at Common Market Philadelphia. Molly holds a Bachelor of Arts in the growth and structure of cities with a focus on environmental studies from Haverford College and a certificate in non-profit management and leadership from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the University of Albany.
