Tanner Williams is the Pacific Northwest Land Transfer Specialist with American Farmland Trust, where he supports farmers, landowners, and conservation partners in navigating farmland transitions that keep working lands in production and protected for future generations. He brings more than 10 years of experience across real estate, land use planning, and conservation, with a background in government land transactions, conservation easements, and complex multi-party land deals. Tanner earned a bachelor’s degree in Land Use Planning and Real Estate Development from The Evergreen State College. His work is grounded in a deep respect for working landscapes and the people who steward them, and he is passionate about creating practical, durable solutions that balance agriculture, conservation, and rural community needs. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Tanner enjoys growing his own food, mountain biking, and skiing.
