Priority: Livestock farmers in specific counties seeking to implement practices for improved soil health.
Launched in 2020, the New England Farmer Microgrants Program (NEFMP) is a grant program that provides direct financial support to farmers across New England.
The program’s Western New England Regenerative Livestock Farming Grants provide direct financial assistance to livestock producers in select counties in CT, MA, NH, and VT for projects that improve soil health through the adoption of regenerative agricultural practices.
Applications for the 2023-24 cycle will open on October 1st, 2023, and close Tuesday, November 21st, 5:00pm. We are aiming to notify applicants of their status in January 2024. We encourage online applications through our Survey Monkey Apply portal. The application is available in a Word document for download/printing as well. If applicants choose to mail in their application, they must be postmarked by November 21st at the latest.

Applicants can request up to $10,000 under this funding opportunity.
