Regenerate Virginia 2026

American Farmland Trust’s Regenerate Virginia initiative is helping producers across the Commonwealth strengthen their operations, build healthier soils, and secure the future of Virginia agriculture.

Through two grant opportunities — Healthy Soils and Farm Vitality — AFT and its partners are investing directly in Virginia farmers and ranchers who are advancing regenerative practices and farm longevity.

Grants open on Dec. 1, 2025. FAQs and applications can be downloaded prior to the open date to allow sufficient time to prepare. Farmers may apply for both opportunities, but only one grant will be awarded per farm.

Q&A office hours sessions will be offered on the following dates:

Monday, Dec. 1, 1 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 15, 7 p.m.
