AFT is developing and advocating for federal and state policies to improve equitable access to resources for women in agriculture. This work involves building a network on women in agriculture poised to influence and inform policy reforms in their local communities, state departments of agriculture, and in Federal Farm Bill programs.

Recent policy wins for our Women for the Land team include the passage of the nation’s first Women in Agriculture Resolution in the California State Legislature.
