Rebecca Drobis is a visual storyteller who uses photography to envision change. Through her work, Rebecca has documented a range of issues affecting individuals and communities including environmental conservation, education, health, youth and family. For this project, Rebecca traveled to Wyoming Country, New York, throughout various agricultural seasons during 2018 to capture selected farmers who are committed to conservation and water preservation. Rebecca was deeply inspired by these individuals’ passion for agriculture and dedication to maintaining their land for future generations.
This photo essay seeks to harness the power of legacy-minded female farmers and landowners to become future leaders for agricultural conservation.
