Logos and Trademarks
American Farmland Trust (AFT) is a nonprofit organization that had led the conservation agriculture movement for four decades. We are working to save the land that sustains us by protecting farmland, promoting sound farming practices, and keeping farmers on the land. At stake is the future of our food supply and the future of our planet. We need farmland to grow our food and farmland to restore our planet.
AFT’s trademarks and other intellectual property play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission. Our marks are a valuable part of our brand, and we appreciate your helping us protect it.
Permission
All of our logos and trademarks are protected by law, so if you’d like to use one, you’ll need to receive our written permission first. Although we’d like to accommodate all the requests we receive, we need to make sure our brand is used in the right way. Additionally, as a 501(c) charitable organization we must comply with certain rules applicable to tax-exempt organizations. So, we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
If you’re working with us on a project or initiative, please work with your AFT contact to coordinate permission.
Conservation agriculture partners, stakeholders, and cause-related marketers interested in co-branding and sponsorship opportunities should work with your existing AFT contact or submit an inquiry by completing this form.
AFT typically does not allow third-party use of our logo or brand features to create clothing, paraphernalia, or swag. If interested, please visit the AFT Store with AFT-branded items available for purchase.
Logos and Trademarks List
This list sets out an illustrative, non-exhaustive list of name and marks owned by AFT. These marks may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part (including, but not limited to, variants/take-offs of No Farms No Food), without the prior written permission of AFT. You may not use any metatags or any other “hidden text” using ” American Farmland Trust,” the AFT initials, or any other name, trademark or product or service name of AFT without our prior written permission.
