American Farmland Trust Response to California May Revise

These are uncertain times in American history. AFT understands that tough decisions must be made to ensure long term viability and resiliency of California’s people, communities, farms, and economies. While we are disheartened by the significant uncertainty and reductions proposed in the May Revise, AFT remains committed to pursuing funding and programming that lift up California’s most vulnerable farmers and ranchers, support resiliency and flexibility in farm commodity sales, and foster climate resiliency through working agricultural lands. AFT will continue to work with state leaders to steward these priorities during these uncertain times.
